Welcome to the New Shrink4Men from Dr Tara J. Palmatier

Actually, it’s still the same Shrink4Men, but with a new URL, some new features and a new layout. In the coming weeks, Shrink4Men will introduce new authors, including family law attorneys with experience in high-conflict divorce and custody cases, Men’s Rights Activists and community members, both men and women, who have been in the trenches regarding relationships with abusive women. They have firsthand expertise on setting boundaries, parental alienation and parallel parenting and I look forward to their contributions.

The original Shrink4Men  will remain as a legacy site at shrink4men.wordpress.com, so you will continue to be able to browse there. I will also post links to future articles on the old blog for newbies who happen to stumble upon that site first.

Meanwhile, be sure to:

  • Subscribe to the new RSS feed.
  • Register for the email subscription service to receive updates, news and special offers.
  • Check out the new social media buttons to share Shrink4Men content.

And thank you for checking out the new Shrink4Men. Welcome!

Congrats at your own URL 🙂

I’ve been grateful for this site, both as a “non-non” and as someone who is still chasing away the demons of an NPD relationship myself. I might be female, but often I identify more with the things the guys go through in the process of overcoming their relationships than stuff I read on female oriented sites.

Thanks for letting us women be here and participate

Two comments. First, I hope you import all previous articles and comments from the old site. Two, I recommend you list archives by tags, not by month, as is the newer blogging trend. When readers come to your site they care about specific topics, not the date. If I want to find an older article I can’t remember when it was published, but I do remember the topic. Archiving by tags is more useful to the reader.

If I can figure out how to do it, consider it done.

Your site has helped me immensely in my healing. Your articles and the other men’s comments are very insightful.Lots of very smart, articulate guys come here and it really helps to see other men who have admirable qualities and talents have also fallen victim to women like this. If it could happen to the guys who post here, I guess I was not all that stupid and naive. Just trusting.

Love all the great information on this site. There is an epidemic of borderlines and Narcissists out there and I share your info with others whenever I can. I know 4 other guys being abused by borderlines. I think your info really helps. Much success.

The new site looks great, Dr. T! Really good to see you stepping up to your own URL and all the versatility that comes with it.

As always, I will be a regular reader here. Guess I better go ahead and change the link to you on my site to the new hacienda.

    Cheers,

    Paul

Dr. Tara: I’m so very thankful for all you are doing to help men (and women) who have been trapped in abusive relationships! Congratulations on the ‘new’ URL and thank you so much for your site. It has helped me to realize that I’m not crazy for thinking that my friends’ situations are abusive…with a little patience on my part, hopefully, they will come here of their own volition in good time (when they are finally ready).
